Bi-directional SATA to IDE and IDE to SATA adapter Description This adapter allows any IDE or EIDE hard drive to be connected to a SATA controller or any SATA hard drive to be connected to an IDE controller by selection of a host / device switch on the converter. The adapter is supplied with both IDE and SATA cables along with a 3.5 to 5.25 inch power adapter to power the converter from a standard internal 5.25 inch power connector. The adapter supports hard drives both larger than and smaller than 137GB and conforms to both serial ATA 1.0 specifications (revision 2.2) and PCI IDE controller specifications (revision 1.0).
