Overview

The Enistic Energy Explorer Kit is a simple to operate energy auditing system that works straight out of the box. It is ideal for people who want to get an accurate, detailed view on their energy consumption either by device, person, department or by building. Data is collected every 10 seconds and can be displayed on the included software or on the more extensive online system. Power used can be displayed in numeric or graphical form with the ability to include or exclude different sockets if you choose to extend your kit with additional Smart Sockets. The equipment uses meter grade energy measuring circuits to ensure the results are penny perfect.

Simple to install

To install:

1. Install the Enistic Energy Manager Lite (supplied) on any Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC
2. Plug in the USB Zone Controller (supplied) into your PC
3. Start the Enistic Energy Manager Lite
4. Plug in devices into the Smart Socket (supplied) and whatch the power it uses be displayed on the screen in graphical and numeric form

The equipment is suitable for use on all office based IT equipment such as desk based PC systems, photocopiers, vending machines, printers, audio / visual equipment, televisions, plasma screens and servers. With this level of flexibility you are able to start measuring how much individual pieces of equipment cost to run and begin the process of identifying the energy hogs within your organisation. This can be used to management strategies that are transparent and simple to operate, perhaps leading to the replacement of energy hungry equipment for more energy efficient systems or the improvement in the ways that equipment is operated.

Installation

• Replace existing halogen transformer with this unit
• Select the unit and house code using a dial on the under side of the unit

IMPORTANT

• In the interests of safety, please switch off power before connection.
• Do not overload, suitable for low voltage halogen lights up to 150W
• Keep away from all sources of water, moisture or flammable products.
• Do not place two receivers within an distance of 1 meter from each other.
• Use only as directed.
