The fan motor for the DustPROOF range of virtually silent fans is extremely quiet. The AcoustiFan™ DustPROOF series use the highest quality double-ball bearings available for reliability, use-anywhere inside a PC for extra long life expectancy (upgrade your PC and take these fans with you!). One of the unique features of these PC fans is that the motor has been completely sealed from the outside environment. This prevents dust entering the motor and also reduces the amount of noise perceived to be coming from the bearings within the motor.
Each DustPROOF™ quiet fan is also supplied with a unique 3-speed fan cable which offers maximum flexibility (3-pin or 4-pin power connectors), along with the ability to select a fan speed suitable for your PC and noise sensitivity. The black connector will run your fan at full speed (12V), the blue connector will run the fan at medium speed (7.5V), and the white connector will run it at minimum speed (5V). However, if you opt for the white connector (minimum fan speed), be certain to design the airflow through your PC system carefully and monitor system and component temperatures. Acousti have even included four handy cable ties with each DustPROOF™ fan!
The DustPROOF™ quiet fans also incorporate an Auto Start safety feature. This feature is built into the fan's PCB and automatically restarts the fan after the release of any obstacle which has prevented the blades from spinning.
The ARCTIC F9 integrates some delicate features to improve the overall airflow and noise control management. Most 92mm standard fans are equipped with seven blades only, but these come with nine blades in order to create higher airflow efficiently.
Moreover, the refined ninja-knife impeller design not only improves the laminar airflow, but it also lowers the noise level. Tested by hundreds of simulations, the results are significant, airflow is over 20% higher compared with a generic 7-blade case fan.
Arctic's PWN case fans are a little different to normal PWM fans. This is thanks to the patented PST (PWM Sharing Technology). The PST feature allows up to five of these fans to be daisy chained together, meaning the motherboard can power and regulate all five fans from one PWM fan header from the motherboard.
The intelligent programmed temperature controller and accurate temperature detection make ARCTIC F Pro TC the best TC fans in the market.

Cutting-edge thermal management concept
Unlike other generic temperature controlled case fans, the ARCTIC F Pro TC fan provides cooling according to not only the temperature, but also the overall necessity for cooling.
The revolutionary programmed temperature controller plays a key role. As shown in the chart, when case ambient air temperature is at safe level 0°C to 32°C, the ARCTIC F Pro TC fan speed remains at its lowest (500 rpm). This is to offer adequate ventilation at the lowest noise level possible. The ARCTIC F Pro TC is therefore completely inaudible (0.05 sone) at low temperatures – a much quieter level than generic TC fans.
However, once a gaming system is at load, the case ambient air temperature will go up speedily, and without any case fans, most likely it will rise above 40°C, an overheated level for most PC cases. High performance and instant cooling is vital at this stage in order to eliminate the risk of overheating and system instability.
The ARCTIC F Pro TC is programmed to achieve top fan speed at 38°C. The fan responses to the rise in temperature swiftly – within a critical 6°C range, the rpm of the ARCTIC F Pro TC fan increases from around 500 to its maximum of 2,000 rpm (the steep curve in the chart). Heat is dissipated from the case rapidly in order to achieve immediate cooling. As a result, the case air temperature remains at 38°C or below and thus the possibility of having a system failure can be eliminated.
Highly flexible – sensor on a 40cm cable
The accurate temperature sensor of the ARCTIC F Pro TC is equipped at the end of a 40cm cable. This gives much better flexibility when choosing the most appropriate spot that users would like to have the temperature detection.
Dedicated to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, the F PWM CO series case fans cool your computer system quietly. Nanoflux Bearing (NFB) compared to sleeve and ball bearings
Even though conventional sleeve and ball bearings currently dominate the fan market both have their disadvantages. While sleeve bearings have very low noise emissions and are very cost effective, they tend to leak oil; once the oil has dissipated the fan can no longer operate. Ball bearings, on the other hand, while providing longer operating life are costlier, noisier and are prone to damage. Gelid's Nanoflux bearing uses magnetic flux to limit contact and friction between the bearing and the shaft. High precision self-lubricated material eliminates oil leakage. The result is a ultra quiet long life bearing.
Fan Speed Control
The RPM speed of any fan can be controlled from full speed to low speed manually using this voltage regulator. This product is suitable for all high RPM fans and regulates between 5 and 12V.
Rubber Fan Mounts
Vibration from fan motors can travel into a PC case and become amplified when a fan is fitted tightly. This vibrational noise is annoying if you wish to build a very quiet or virtually silent PC. These rubber mounts have been designed specifically to deal with fan-induced vibrations and are an ideal alternative to standard fan screws, leaving vibrations 100% decoupled from your PC case.
The classic NF-B9 92mm fan helped to found Noctua’s reputation as a top-tier manufacturer of premium quality quiet cooling components and still impresses users with its exquisite quietness and superb performance. The new PWM version features Noctua’s novel, custom designed PWM IC for fully automatic control and ultra-low power consumption. Proven NF-B9 Design
Tens of thousands of quiet cooling enthusiasts swear by Noctua’s classic NF-B9. Its impressive quietness, excellent performance and impeccable, time-tested quality made the B9 a default choice for 92mm quiet cooling.
Bevelled Blade Tips
Reducing critical rotor stator interaction, the NF-B9’s Bevelled Blade Tips permit to combine a higher blade surface area with quieter operation and thus form a cornerstone of the fan’s outstanding efficiency.
Noctua’s signature Vortex-Control Notches split up trailing edge vortices and thus spread the fan’s noise emission over a wider range of frequencies. This measure makes the NF-B9 PWM sound more pleasant to the human ear.
Custom designed PWM IC with SCD
Supporting fully automatic PWM speed control, the NF-B9 PWM uses Noctua’s novel, custom designed NE-FD1 PWM IC that integrates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By providing smoother torque impulses, SCD suppresses PWM switching noises and thus makes the fan quieter at lower speeds.
The NF-B9 PWM is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum fan speed from 1600 to 1300rpm. The L.N.A can be used either to run the fan at a fixed speed of 1300rpm or to cap the maximum speed when using automatic PWM control.
Extensive Cabling Options
The fan’s short 20cm primary cable minimises cable clutter in typical applications while the supplied 30cm extension provides extended reach when necessary. Both cables are fully sleeved and a 4-pin y-cable allows to connect a second NF-B9 fan to the same PWM fan header for automatic control.
Combining the proven concept of hydrodynamic bearing with an additional magnet that supports the self-stabilisation of the rotor axis, Noctua’s time-tested SSO-Bearing technology has become synonymous with supremely quiet operation and exceptional long-term stability.
6 years manufacturer’s warranty
Noctua fans are renowned for their impeccable quality and outstanding longevity. Like all Noctua fans, the NF-B9 PWM features an MTBF rating of more than 150.000 hours and comes with a full 6 years manufacturer’s warranty.
The NF-B9's highly-optimised blade design achieves an exceptional level of airflow and static pressure that most other fans can only reach at much higher speeds. Bevelled blade tips, Vortex-Control Notches as well as Noctua's SC drive system and premium-grade SSO-Bearing ensure outstanding quietness and long-term stability.

The new Xilence 2CF fans consist of a two-component material mix which together combines the advantages of flexible and solid materials. Fine vibrations of the rotor are effectively damped due to the special rubber compound existing frame. The rubber frame serves as a stable and vibration retardant base for the fan motor. A massive metal bearing shell forms the center of gravity and further contributes to the fact that imbalances can be avoided. The 7 to 13 volt operating motor accelerates the air flow optimized rotor blades. The vibration-free fan is mounted with special rubber decouplers - disturbing impact sounds are a thing of the past. Xilence granted a five year warranty to the new fan series.
