The Kama Thermo Thermometers are simple products that allow you to monitor temperatures of internal components. There are three different versions available, do depending on how you want to monitor the temperatures, there should be a solution for you. Kama Thermo Wireless The Kama Thermo Wireless is an infra-red thermometer which allows you to monitor the temperature of any target surface simply by pointing and clicking! Just aim the Kama Thermo Wireless at the component whose temperature you wish to read, press the button and then the display shows its temperature. The unit can be powered by its own supplied lithium battery or a USB cable, the main difference being that of course when you use a USB cable, the thermometer is no longer wireless! The only other difference is that when the Kama Thermo Wireless is powered using the supplied USB cable the display turns blue to improve readability. Kama Thermo and Kama Thermo Mini The two wired versions of the Kama Thermo are designed to be fixed solutions. Exiting from the rear of the units are two cables. The first cable is the sensor and when attached to a component in your system it will measure the temperature of that component. The second cable has a 4-pin Molex connector on it, similar to those which power IDE hard drives. Once the Molex connector has been connected the display illuminates blue to improve readability. The Molex connector does not power the readout, (that is down to the internal battery), meaning you can still have the readout without connecting the Molex connector.

The Kaze Master Fan Controllers are possibly the best looking fan controllers ever to grace our product range. When switched off, they look like a plain bezel apart from the dials. It is only when they are switched on that you see any type of display. The display shows the RPM of each connected fan and the temperature of the four supplied probes. One thing we are often asked about the fan controllers we sell, is whether they can switch the fan(s) off when their dials are turned down to the minimum setting. The Kaze Masters can! So if you only want a fan to run under certain circumstances then these could be your ideal fan controllers As already mentioned, each fan controller is supplied with four temperature probes. These probes connect to the rear of the fan controller and are then placed inside the PC. The best locations to place these probes depends on which component(s) you wish to monitor. The most common choices are the CPU and the graphics card, so by slotting the probe between the heatsink fins you are then able to monitor how hot the heatsink runs. As you can see from the pictures above, there are two sizes of fan controller available. To help you decide which one is suitable for your needs, you need to ask yourself a few questions. Firstly, how many fans do you need to control? If the answer is no more than two then the 3.5inch fan controller will be the best solution. However, if you want to control up to four fans then the 5.25inch version is ideal. The second question is what size drive bay(s) do you have free? Some cases are supplied with only one 3.5inch drive bay and therefore if you are already using a 3.5inch device, (like a card reader) then it would not be possible to use the 3.5inch version. If that is the situation then the 5.25inch fan controller is the way forward, just as long as you have a spare 5.25inch drive bay!
